Based on his play. I didn't see much arm strength last night. And, I haven't seen much accuracy in the past. Flynn didn't win those games, the team did. We steamrolled Miami on the ground, and the defense gave us a short field all night last night. But, no, you are right, it was all Matt Flynn. How the heck do you know anything about his leadership ability?

Grass is always greener? Heck no. I was a big Russell supporter from day one. But, I think Russell did not play smart down the stretch against Auburn last year, and it cost us the game.

And our backfield absolutely was damn slow last year with Russell and Hester in there.

Why, b/c I think Perrilloux is a better QB than Flynn?

Good lord, are you guys related to Matt Flynn or something?

I didn't know this was the Matt Flynn Fan Club. I thought this was an LSU board.

I want to see LSU go undefeated and win another National Championship. To do that, they need the best 11 on the field. Can't afford one slip. With questions in the receiving corps, I'd like to see a playmaker at QB. I don't see Flynn as that guy. I don't care how old he is. Marcus Randall was the senior once too.

I have no delusions about Perrilloux taking over the job, but there is a reason he was one of the top recruits in the nation.

RP looked good but consider the point of the game he came in, just like others said. Miss St was was tired and deflated, they weren't running full speed by this late in the game. I'm happy with what Flynn did considering the factors of being an away Conference game, first game of the season and restricted playbook. Add to that that he was 12/19 for 128 with subpar line protection (which is what we really need to be concerned about). This shouldn't even be a debate this early in the season. Once Crowton opens the offense up, I have no doubt that Flynn will be the kind of quarterback he's supposed to be. Ryan's time will come soon enough, just not this year.

Okay, dude, I'm 37 next month, teaching my first week back at school with 8th graders all day, came home, fed my two girls (6 and 2), got them bathed, prepared some finger foods for a happy hour I'm having for my fellow teachers after school today, then went to Back to School night at my daughter's elementary, missed the first quarter, came back, watched the second quarter and the rest of the game, then went back to my DVR to watch the first quarter that I missed at 11 p.m.

I'm exhausted, but football is king.

I am not one of those people. Those people were fools. Flynn is nothing like Russell. Your point would be more salient if you said Matt Mauck.
