1. I am in a CFB FF league. I dont know if I should draft LSU's defense/special teams or VT's. I would say the defenses are about even stat wise, but I am not sure about special teams. I am worried about LSU's special teams. VT's special teams should be good as always.

So how good do you think our special teams will be this year? Do you think I should pick VT over LSU? Id hate to pick an opponent over LSU.
  2. I'd go with LSU based on their non-conference schedule.
  3. Have you never heard of "Beamer ball"?? VT is known for it's special teams....take off the P & G glasses and VT.
  4. VT's defense is as good as LSU's, it will be a defensive struggle for sure.

Special teams have been a glaring LSU weakness the past two years. I expected Brad Peveto to be replaced over it. I guess he's a good secondary coach, but we need a new special teams coach if they cost us another championship.
  5. VT has really good special teams and a pretty good defense for an ACC team. But I would be hard pressed to not pick LSU in this matchup.
  6. Then you shouldn't gamble cause people who bet with their heart are the one's bookies love.

We are talking special teams though, which could decide the game....not saying I'm picking VT over LSU, in the final score.
  7. I think he is a Hurricane fan though???
  8. No wonder he's betting on other teams. :hihi:
  9. I just spit my soup all over my desk! Thanks!! That was one of the funniest things I have read in awhile! I guess we need to be nice to the nebie since he has been pretty well behaved right now. Plus Deltona is near Stetson so if LSU plays them in baseball again I want advice on where to eat...hear you have to go to Orange City for any food at all in that area!!!
  10. Yeah, Stetson is right up the road from Deltona. Will give you the skinny on all of the good eating establishments in the beautiful down-town metropolis that IS Orange City Florida when the Tigers play in DeLand.:hihi:
