The press conference with Miles just now really put me at ease about LSU football for the first time in weeks. For the past few weeks, times have been tense for myself and most other LSU fans. I am sure that like mine, most everyone else's holidays have been very enjoyable. At the same time though, the Saban announcement put a damper on Christmas Day and the game's ending put a damper on New Year's Day. Well tiger fans, we just got ourselves a late Christmas gift! I can't wait for the recruiting bash and the spring game! GEAUX LES MILES & GEAUX LSU!
I must agree. After listening to Miles, I think we are in good hands. I am looking forward to him being our coach.
In the PC, Miles made a comment regarding the staff when asked if he was considering keeping some of the incumbents. To paraphrase his reply, he said that HE would be making those decisions. Take it for what it's worth, but at least I like the fact that he is demonstrating that it is HIS program now and he will take charge of it.
Agree. The other thing he said was he realizes these LSU assistants were a big part of making LSU an elite program and it woud be foolish not to gauge their interest.
Not until around the end of the week, Miles is doing interviews with the staff as we speak... that being said I can almost guarantee that Jimbo is gone, Muschamp is probably gone but may be retained 50/50 right now.
Negative. One of the BR radio guys said today he thinks Miles is meeting with the staff today and we will know shortly b/c of the recruiting process.
