just realized that the time since CJ was playing at LSU is as long as the time between Pistol and CJ. when i was in school watching CJ, Pistol seemed like ancient times. im sure CJ seems like ancient times to todays students. although atleast CJ played in the assembly center and his photos were in color.

Yes we are old. When you see Rookies being born in the mid 80s.

Man those were some good time. Macmuud, Shaq, Stanley Roberts..

How we didnt win the title one of those years.. Wait. Dale Brown. Right.

i was sitting here thinking....that can't be. cj played around '88 or '89 nearly twenty years ago and pistol played in
omg that was almost 20 years ago. i remember talking smack to my ole miss fan reading teacher in 7th grade who constantly reminded me that he was from mississippi.

i said you can't control where you are born, but you can control being a tiger!!:thumb:

LOL, this adds a whole new meaning!
You guys are not alone, talking about kids that are in college or pro sports that were born when I was a junior or senior in high school.
Life doesn't discriminate and none of us are getting any younger!
But I am thinkful for the opportunity to get old because I have seen and
heard stories of people dying younger meaning they didn't live as long as
myself all along my journey of life!

    Two Stories
I am also almost the same age of Elvis when he died.
I was twelve at the time and still remember being in school and thinking how
    old I thought he was.

I remember being 13 or so and thinking how old I would be when the year 2000 gets here, (that was the seventies) and thinking thats a long time
    from now!
Well, life has caught up with me seven years ago!
