Hurricane Tigers

Any of you in a Hurricane area? Are you gonna evacuate? Where will you go?

Been thinking about going to Jackson where a friend lives, but I've heard it may do me no good.

I'm in New Orleans If it comes (big if) I'm going to Houston.

 

I live on the 2nd highest point on the island that I live on, I didn't leave for any of them last year (unless you count going to the Oregon State game), and I doubt I will have to this year.

 

I never evacuate because I am a hurricane junkie. I enjoy tracking and learning about these monster storms, and experiencing them first hand.

 

Just heard that Dennis could is likely to go up to a Category 5 storm...WOW that's friggin scary! Hope that anyone and everyone in any of the projected paths get the hell out. I sat through Andrew in Thibodaux and it was bad, I couldn't imagine being in Category 5 storm.

 

Well, everyone on the FL/Bama border get the hell out because IMO its heading right your way.

Talk of some front making it go more West is dying.

 

I'm going to stay right here and ride it out!
