1. yeah. weatherunderground is such a better site. The weather channel and the weather channel site is just a big commericial vehicle now.
  2. Well right, ideally I wouldn't want anyone to have to deal with the storm.

Whatever happens, like I said earlier, everyone just be safe.

  3. That's just it...they don't give a reason. It's like you have to watch 6 hours of TWC broadcast just to get 15 minutes worth of new and worthwhile information...that's why I am coming here now.
  4. Dude, go to wunderground.com for weather...'specially tropical stuff.
  5. That's an awfully broad range when the computer models are generally in agreement. TWC has turned into a ratings-generating machine over the past few years; I wonder if this statement was an attempt to keep everyone glued.

While everyone on the Gulf Coast should still keep an eye out, I hate to say it but I think this one's gunning for LA.

  6. Bookmarked it a while ago. Thanks!:thumb:
  7. just took this off of the wbrz broadcast. sorry i shrunk it down.

  8. Am I the only one who thinks Colorado State Univ. is an unusual place to conduct hurricane studies?
  9. agreed. you would think that the expert on hurricanes would be located somewhere in the coastal southeastern US.
  10. Wow... that map's a mess. Here's what I've been looking at for computer models. Of course, there are more computer models than the ones that this map is showing, and I used to have a link that showed every single computer model but I lost it.

Too bad Nash Roberts is retired... him and his marker board would put these computer models to shame.
