Nah, I grew up in Walker, and lived off of Germany Road in Gonzales for about two years. Blue collar family. I pretty much worked for everything I got. My stepdad is a CEO at a hospital down here, so yeah, $$$ isn't all that tight like it was back home. I"m no spoiled brat like about 90% of the kids down here are. This place, too, is very corrupt and you can smell the arrogance from miles around. I hate it.
You know it. My dad tells me I need to get more culture in my life, other than just some Texas, Red Dirt music that nobody hears about much (Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland & the Stragglers, Chris Knight, Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Kevin Fowler, etc...). The only rap culture I will allow myself to listen to is what you just posted. The rap industry has gone to hell much like Nashville.
Last time I was in Boca my friend from there hung out at Pete Rose's Sports Bar. It was pretty cool. There is a lot of his stuff there like the bat he used to get the record breaking hit. Check it out.
Yeah, I may have to. I'll probably be heading to the Boca Ale House to watch the game tomorrow. Pretty nice sports bar.
