Better hope they are Patrick Peterson type recruits. If not I'm sure Les will find a way to waste their talent.

Perhaps the worst sign is, however, that my other two Gump friends, to whom I have talking endless smack, reacted very matter of factly to the game. I was prepared to take massive shit, and got none in return. That is disturbing!
Where has all that high caliber recruiting gotten us? It seems our development is subpar, our ability to judge talent independent of the recruiting gurus is suspect, and our ability to put our players in a position to win is faltering. I've kinda lost faith that strong recruiting is going to matter.
So your premise is that player for player, LSU is evenly matched with Alabama? I think your premise is disingenuous. Bama has better talent. Period. Saban has hauled in the #1 recruiting class for like the last 5 years running whereas we have hauled in maybe one top 5 class, a few top 10 classes, and one or two top 15 classes.
Your interpretation is different than mine. I saw adjustments on their side and none on our at half. Similar to a NC game a couple years ago.
yep. mett, landry and odb is better than anything they have on offense and their defense is nothing special. the difference is in their coaching and discipline to their assignments. they hide their weaknesses so its not nearly as obvious. so according to your theory, they had the better talent last year too. dumb reasoning, period. they did not. we did. we were outcoached then, too. you have a top 10 class the rankings are almost irrelevant. the difference is in development.
