Yeah only if Saban's team would not have lost a close game to Arky that year. Tough games happen to the best teams.
Absolutely! We need to tell ALL of the players and coaches that we are very, very proud of them, and very, very proud of winning the SEC West in 2005. We complain on this board, but, if I could actually send a message to the players and coaches, I would have nothing but good things to say.
Great post! An interesting season, lots of ups and downs, with the hurricanes, ASU, Tenn. Plenty of controversy early. Then quality wins against Fla., Auburn, Bama. Arky brought their considerable best. They played a great game and are to be congratulated. LSU played solid and won without playing their best game. 10-1 exceeded my expectation by one game. JaMarcus improved as the season wore on, as expected. Coaches did a better job as the season wore on. This has been a VERY SUCCESSFUL season for our Tigers! We have two games left to see if we can turn "very successful" into "exceptional". :geauxtige
