Exactly. My problem is, I never have any extra money. The wife and kids see to that.

I'm trying to save $400 by painting the ceiling. I still have a $2500 job for them

So we have one of those Jacuzzi tubs. The center access panel has been off for months, maybe years hell I don't know.

So I go to get my little girl out the other day and happen to notice the water, a lot of water under the tub. Great. So I stick my phone in there and take a few pictures and figure out which her is leaking.

When I start taking the jet out I find out the pvc union / jet is cracked all to hell. Like in half. Turns out it was clogged with hair.

Said it for years and now have proof, pressure will burst a pipe

Those tubs eventually leak...especially around the jets and drains.

What kind of ceiling? We've been scraping the popcorn finish off our ceilings room by room, so we have a smooth finish. That's a job I'll gladly pay someone else to do; but once its smooth, painting it is not bad at all.

My parents put in a jacuzzi tub years ago. One December during a rare freeze, we went to visit my brother, 3 hours away. My younger brother and I came back separately from my parents, and found the pipe to the tub had broke in the freeze while we were away. Talk about a mess.

Its not popcorn but textured. The roller brush is working well. The guys I hired say the texturing is unusual for both my walls and ceiling - never seen it before. Its pretty, but hard to match they said. The hard part for me is up and down the ladder - I am not great with heights but fortunately the ceiling if only 10ft so I can reach it easily. and I was near the counters the whole time on the ladder so had stability. The Speech pathologist I work with is going to help me with the Dining room.
