I think you could be correct, Arkansas was suppose to be all but dead but
Houston Nutt is doing it again.

No way I'm missing that one!

I think Allburn ought to handle Arkansas fairly easily.

Agreed, It will all come down to how good they are on the road. My guess is not very good.

I don't know if AU will handle them easily, but Arky is a one man show. Matt Jones beat Bama yesterday on his own. If Auburn gets after MJ and gets to him, long day for the Hogs. :) :) :) :) :) :)

I do not think that AU will handle Ark. easily at all, neither will LSU. This is an arch-typical Ark. team. No one exptects them to do anything, and they play with a chip on their shoulder. I really think they'll beat AU and when it's all said and done, the SECW rep in the SECCG will be decided the day after TG - the same way it seems to come down every year.

I don't think Arkansas will beat Auburn this year, despite the fact that Tubby usually picks Arkansas as his team's meltdown week. Bama ran against Arkansas' defense at will, and their running backs are not as good as Caddy and Brown.

Also, Auburn's defense has enough speed and presumably enough sense to prevent Jones from repeatedly getting outside, which is what killed Bama.

I agree that Arkansas has looked good in their games thus far, but I don't know if they'll be able to sustain that. I know they played Texas pretty well for most of their game, and then handled Alabama this past weekend, but 'Bama was without Croyle and that has a lot to do with the way they played.

I won't count them out vs anybody--including against us for the "battle for the boot" because they always seem to play tough, hard-nosed football. They might not have the talent man-for-man as us and Auburn, but they're showing that they will play physical.

If they start off playing physical vs Auburn, they can beat them. But if they fall behind early, then it's lights out and the hogs don't have a chance.
