1. Because Pelini's strategy was to take away the screens, dumps to RBs, short, quick drops, etc. He want to force the youngster to throw downfield. Pay attention, man.
  2. Tennessee was keeping backs and tight ends back to pick up the blitz and it worked. Pelini did not keep just running men into blockers and covered the receivers instead.
  3. Did we just beat the #8 team in the country, on the road, for only the second time in the history of our school ?
  4. Overrated!
  5. What a depressing post after such a great win.
  6. 3rd and 15? 3rd and 20? 4th and 3??? No problem. It's like when we had 3rd and short, we'd penalize ourselves, back up further, and then convert. :thumb:
  7. So, let me get this straight, you'd rather we had LOST the game just so you can prove Russell had a bad game and to support your stance that he should be replaced???

Dude, that's just really sad for someone claiming to be a diehard fan. :dis:
  8. Thanks for the red dan...'preciate it. I don't get it much but I'm glad you feel better.:thumb:
  9. No I wouldnt be happy with a lose. And its not about me talking about it, it is so people will SEE JR for what he is, an average backup. But when he comes in and pulls off the win everyone ignores that fact.

I am glad we won dont get me wrong, I wish we could have done it without him providing the win.
  10. Depressing or not, its the truth.
