We need WVU to win; it means UL will take the Big East Champ spot. If BCS picks UM #2 We go to rose vs USC FL goes to Sugar vs ND If BCS picks FL #2 We go to sugar Vs. ND UM goes to rose vs USC If WVU loses Rutgers gets Big East Champ Spot and UL MIGHT jump us for the last at-large spot; we go to Cap. 1 vs. Wisconson
Even if Louisville jumps us and ends up number 4 they won't be an auto qualifier. There can only be one auto qual. and they must be in the top 4. This is Michigan if they dont get the NC game. ( Ohio won conf., Mich. is auto qual to the rose).
No, he means jump us as far as a bowl choosing them over us. Louisville stands no chance at surpassing us in the BCS, unless the voters lose their mind and jumps them over us. Even still, LSU will stay ahead of Louisville in the computer polls, since the win today doesn't help Louisville's SOS.
True; but historically the BCS has picked in BCS order (whats the point of having rankings if you dont use them?). UL could pass us and not be picked; but its not very likely.
If Florida goes to the MNC, I am inclined to think that the Sugar would choose LSU to go to the Sugar. If Florida does not jump UM, then we should get the Rose. We should be covered, shouldn't we?
Louivile won't jump jack. The number of tickets LSU has sold speaks for itself and ratings wise LSU smokes Louiville. Bottom line is that LSU will play in a BCS Bowl and kick the phucking tar out of some unlucky team. I'm hoping it's USC.[/quote] MUCH Stranger things have happened my friend, an UL demolished UCONN this morning. I don't think it will happen, but it could.
