After the win over LA Tech. Herbstreit and Corso were asked to name their top 5 teams in the nation. Corso picked LSU #5 and then to my surprise, Herbstreit picked LSU #3 in the nation. Then Fowler said "it feels strange but what else are we going to do with LSU?" After that on Sports Center it seem like a recurring theme. They were saying "What are we gonna do with LSU?" It's like no one feels safe voting for us..... I give Herbstreit cudos for having balls enough to actually project us top 3. I feel that we are a legitimate top 3 team. Possibly higher, if the cards fall right. Damn that Florida loss.
Guys, I can't stand those ESPN idiots any more than you. But, the statement "It's like no one feels safe voting for us" I think has been earned from the past and most recently the UF game. LSU just needs to take care of business and let the chips fall. We can't control what those idiots do. Focus! Alabama will be ready for LSU. We need to be prepared and ready for Bama.
I read this as: "Damnit, LSU has made us look SO stupid, so do we stick with our same story and hope that SOMEBODY beats them, or do we do a 180 and hope nobody notices?"
