    I think we need to hire Bill Curry and get him off ESPN. He's the best!!!:thumb:

    If we get an ESPN coach, I'd go with Bob Davie.

    Seriously, Bob Davie isn't a bad coach. He was just in a bad situation.

    His Wrecking Crew defenses at A&M back in the 90s were hellacious. I'd be intrigued by Davie, but jumping back into coaching is one thing, doing so at LSU is another.

    Bob Davie doesn't sound like a bad candidate

    I would never go after Davie...his record is commendable but very inconsistent - plus he had several 'weird' things happen under his watch. I was simpy saying, of the ESPN clan, Davie is the best candidate and not a bad football coach. A HC at LSU? Nope.
