    ordinarily, I would absolutely agree.
    except I already own a white Hendrix style Strat.

    so, just thinking that maybe adding a gretsch to the lineup for variety sake.

    I have a black on black strat. Not because somebody famous played on. Just happened to be the color of the one advertised on Craigslist. Was a good deal so I bought it. I have 3 black guitars now.
