it’s been rumored for a long time that the guitar Jimi set on fire at Monterey Pop Fest ‘67 wasn’t the guitar he played that night.

never been confirmed one way or another that i know of.

i remember reading somewhere that Jimi paid like $100 (or a lil over) for the white one he played at Woodstock.
