Sex education is meant for mothers and fathers to teach their children. Not a public school teacher. The only thing that should be said is not to have sex outside of marriage. Have you ever thought about how many teenage pregnancies could be avoided if young people were taught abstinence instead of how not to catch a venereal disease?

These same people have the system figured out pretty good. They know just how many hours they can work before they lose benefits. They know just how many illegitimate children they can have and still get paid for it. They know just how to instruct their kids to play dumb and not excel in order to get a larger check each month. They know exactly how long they can ride unemployment before they have to take their lazy carcasses to the unemployment office and find a job. They constantly look for a way to get free money and the government encourages them to do so. I should say that the left encourages them. Democrats know that the best constituency is those who feel like there is no way they could possibly live without the government aid.

You know as well as I do that there are cities within our country that have forced Christian churches to remove their steeples and crosses because it offended a muslim or atheist. What is funny is that in at least one of those progressive cities, the muslims were allowed to continue their call to prayer 5 times a day. Who cares if the Christians are offended?

How about encouraging that woman to not have children out of wedlock? Or teach her not to have children if she cannot afford to take care of them. I’ve got an idea, lets start teaching them responsibility at an early age that way maybe we can at least cut down on the illegitimate children. Naw, that would never work would it?

Actually we don't use the same Bible. The Catholic Bible dates as it is constituted today dates back to the 4th century (of course the individual books date back much further) when the Church at a series of African conferences decided which books would be canonical and which ones would not. The Church decided the Bible would consist of 72 books including 46 books assigned to the Old testament. At the time of the Protestant Reformation the Protestants decided to use the Jewish Old Testament which did not include the books of Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruck and 1st & 2nd Maccabees. In addition the Jewish Old Testament, and therefore the Protestant Old Testament, does not include parts of the books of Daniel and Esther.

I challenge you to find one piece of evidence from a medical journal stating the opinion of a physician or researcher staing his theory linking being gay to a genetic predisposition and not a behavioral or learned issue.

No, I think the question is more along the lines of 'how can someone choose to do something so disgusting?' To think that people would actually decide to adopt the hardships of being gay is incredibly short-sighted. Gay people think that what we do is disgusting.

The most recent test was conducted by Swedish scientist in which they concluded that gay men respond differently to pheremones than do hetero's (if you don't know what pheremones are, there is no point in furthering any sort of conversation involving biological differences).

Keep in mind that finding links between biological traits and behavioral patterns has proven nearly impossible over the years. In other words, just because some scientist hasn't found the 'gay chromosome' yet doesn't mean that the theory isn't true, because they haven't found chromosomes that yield other sorts of behavior.

Of course, it remains a theory, and no one really appears to know with an advanced degree of certainty just yet. The biggest problem in conducting these sorts of tests is sampling and bias. But to say that there's no evidence one way or the other is just plain wrong.

Consider the following analogy:

You are introduced to $food for the first time. You have never smelled or tasted $food before. You think, "I'll try something new!". You eat $food, and love it.

Every time you smell $food in the future, your mouth starts watering and physical chemical changes occur in the brain.

I think the same analogy could apply to homosexual behavior. If a person is introduced to said behavior before forming moral opinions of it, and enjoyed it, the brain might very well react the same way upon further introductions of said behavior.

Such a test proves nothing if it isn't done in a controlled environment. It would need to be done on subjects prior to experiencing any sort of sexual behaviors.

I believe that any of us could live gay or straight lifestyles depending on what was introduced to us and what choices we made very early in life.

I totally agree that a grown up gay person has different types of pheremone levels than a straight person. I don't see how that relates to the question posed as to how we are born genetically gay. We do not develop these pheremone levels until years after birth, most likely puberty when our secondary sex characteristics kick into high gear.

This question was posed when REX said we cannot help being gay, in other words this is a genetic issue and not a behavioral one. Anyone can consciously change a bevavioral trait (unless you are rare individual suffering from a bipolar disorder or of the like). By the way those are genetic medical disorders also.
