FYI - I made the drive last weekend from Dallas and they are repaving I20 just east of where 80 joins. Traffic was backed up for miles. We got off and took side roads around to Canton and got back on. You might want to look into doing the same.

That's how I go. 30 to 80 then to 20 at Terrell. But it's after Terrell where the trouble starts.

ahh eff it. I may just go down 45 to Houston or something. IM sure there is construction on 45, but it may not be as long.

Oh, and on the adult theatre thing, there is one just on the Texas side of the Red coming in from OK on 35. Not the most "proud" symbols of my state

  9. Hey Rudy, welcome to the board. I respect you still continuing to travel with your team in a down year. As others have said here, be sure to try to book a room before you get here, they have been scarce since Katrina.

Thanks Bayou. I originally wasnt going to make it, its a little further than Ruston (not sure how long the drive is). I wound up having to cancel my plans last weekend and had to take a boring postout in Ft worth. But, I have to somehow keep my road trip streak alive. Yeah, this is a "down" year, but things will pick up for us.
