1. He has missed 4 XP this season. Saban outta take his damn jersey away, he is so pathetic. He can make a 40-45 yard FG but I'll be damn that he make a 10 yard XP. :cuss:
  2. Gaudet missed the crucial one in the Auburn game didn't he? I don't know who else LSU has but please, either teach better kicking fundamentals to the guys we have or find someone else who can kick --- or both!
  3. The thing is, Saban said that both kickers were hitting everything throughout the Summer. Then they get in the game and can't hit $hit! :po:
  4. in reference to Saban's comparison of a kicker to an assassin....it would seem Chris Jackson just sawed off his shotgun...
  5. I say we just screw the Xp's and go for 2 everytime from now on. The precentage is better.
  6. Agreed!!!

I don't know what Jackson and Gaudet do all day at practice (I know it can't be weight lifting), but they should kick FG's and XP's until their legs fall off....At least that way, they'd have an excuse for missing.
  7. Jackson is all we 've got or Nick would be playng someone else. You don't get rid of somebody for being average. You go out and get somebody better.
  8. Very true. Jackson is handling all the kicking duties, he must be doing it for a reason. The other guys are not doing their job and everything is falling on Jackson. No doubt we need to get some new kickers here or at least some kind of kicking coach.
  9. I had not even thought about this due to the focus of the thread - extra points. Jackson is a special teams workhorse right now. He is doing punting, place-kicking, AND kickoffs.

He deserves some credit for at least doing his part to be a major contributor to this team. Obviously nobody else has been able to step up to the plate as far as kicking is concerned.

    Kudos to CJ!
  10. WOW, thats 12 or 13 plays a game!!!!!! Do you think we need to rotate 5 or 6 kickers to keep em fresh?   :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: The bottom line is we don't have a kicker that is getting the job done in any phase of the kicking game and that is a shame. Extra points shouldn't be nearly as exciting a play as it is for the Tigers this year.
