I actually think that Richt is going to use some misdirection this week.

Not to say that Ware won't see 15 to 20 handoffs, but it seems like Richt has really put additional though into developing the offensive plan for this game.

He ran that shuttle screen to A J Bryant last week, and I have got to believe that he will also use Bryant's 4.3 speed against LSU in the same fashion.

That play was not designed to be specifically used against Marshall. It was a test. If LSU blitzes on that play, put up six points for the Dawgs because it is real easy to audible into.

Richt didn't want to recreate the FSU offense at UGA and at times has gone too vanilla with his game plans.

UGA had an all Senior OL in 2002 and was able to average 38 points per game while ending up with a 13 - 1 record and a BCS Sugar Bowl win.

In 2003, Richt knew his entire OL would be made up of rookie freshmen and sophomores. He had no illusions about dominating anyone, especially with all of the injuries.

But this is a new year and I have a feeling that he is loosening up some. When he was interviewed by Chuck Dowdle last weekend, Chuck asked him if he any tricks up his sleeve for the LSU game. I've never seen Richt with a bigger grin on his face.

He BETTER have something up his sleeve! If not, he's in for a world of hurt.

Last time Georgia lost after an off-week was AU in '01

Georgia is 5-1 coming off an off-week under Richt, according to today's Athens Banner-Herald. Just 'cause you asked.

    Hey CornDawg ... what's Richt's record

    against Nick Saban? :hihi:

Is it as good as 5-1?

You wouldn't try to "shine us", huh?

... would rather have a tune-up against MSU than an off week

... an off week doing what ... watching replays of two whippins'

    That's like a horny high-schooler waiting outside a debutant's window ... by the time he's up to bat ...

He's already shot his wad :hihi:

    Advantage LSU

You're right. We don't have a shot. Bet the farm.

You'll find out soon enough what Georgia did with it's off week. As I always say when I'm seated in front of a full plate of barbecue, "You're about to see something really special."

    God, I hope so

GA won't run on LSU ... I did bet it hard and heavy ... 35K @ LSU +3.5

I'll be sitting down to a nice plate of BBQ and cold beer in Bahrain after the game ... thinking about all those poor suffering children in ... and thinking about the visiting dawg fans to Tigerforums and their suffering children in those rusty and run-down Georgia trailer parks ... I'll imagine all those GA neighbor's dogs getting kicked (as earlier descibed in one of the dawg's posts) ... all those children being beaten by frustrated and drunken Dawg fan fathers ... and all those formerly pretty GA peaches with black eyes and fat lips ... headed to the 'mergeny room :dis: The Night the Lights went out in Georgia ... Part II ... I'll belch after a good meal ... fire up a Cohiba Siglo IV ... and pull out my Florida game notes and move on to next week ... Life is good when you're a National Champ
