As a perfect example of this, I can't even get access to official Geaux font school logos as a graduate student to use in PowerPoint presentations when I travel to conferences, when I'm effectively representing the university. I have to get them from professors. Forget lock and key, this is like Fort Knox security.

so you can get them then?

Yes, but I'm not sure whether I can legally use them as far as the LSU administration is concerned, even though I must have used them on about a half dozen presentations. You'd think they would want the scientific community to be aware of the research going on at the university, but I'm not an administrator so I don't get paid to make those decisions.

High Logic FontCreator is what I am using right now...its pretty cool you can scan your own handwriting and turn it into a font.

If you have access to a student's PAWS account you can get "LSU Goudy Font" from tigerware, but I have no idea what it looks like since I graduated and can't download anymore.

So why don't you just copy/scan something that has the dang font on it already? Geez, you need a grunt to figure this out for you?
