this will be a big plus for urban meyer going into the offseason. If meyer an co. can adapt to the speed of the conf, the gators will be hell to deal with in the east.

I just returned from the game (UF vs. FSU). If Urban Legend continues to try & run that spread option in the SEC, he won't sniff the Championship game. Florida won that game today with defense & special teams & when they did have success on O, they actually ran the ball (qb under center) & threw downfield.

BTW, when honoring the seniors today prior to kickoff, while mentioning their accomplishments, the announcer said, "...beating the 2003 National Champions." Not much for these Gator seniors to hang their hat on except that they beat LSU the year that the Tigers won the National Championship.
