No, it was in fact won on a single in house promotion.

As bad as Stud is, Mett could have easily won the game.

Maybe I missed it, but did Russel Shepard play at all? I know he didn't touch the football, but I don't remember him getting on the field.
I don't understand why you don't at least give this guy the ball once to see what happens. I know he didn't have the best hands, but he is certainly one of the more dynamic runners on the team. Give him the ball on an end around or something to try to get him to the edge to compliment the inside game. From all reports, this is a kid that had a great attitude AND had the speed and moves to be a risk any time he had the ball.

I am not one to question coaching decisions and play calling, especially of those who are paid to do so. But, the use of Russel Shepard is one that I will never understand.

Agreed, you have 2nd and a short 4, run Jeremy Hill, or Ware up the gut or Ford to the edge, ZM stunk tonight, this coaching staff never recognizes when 8 is on and when he isn't, you run the ball twice and pick up the first.

by completing a pass... boyd is an avg. to good qb but at least he can complete a pass when necessary and avoid a rush every now and then...
