Maybe its because we threw on first down more often? We were more unpredictable when the game was on the line.
I agree that the play calling on offense wasn't the best, but we DID have 2 dropped TD'd and 2 missed field goals. And don't forget about Bowe 'alligator arming' that 3rd down pass before Jackson's tying field goal. If he stretches out, he most likely (ha) catches it and sets up a first and goal at the one.
