Your attempts to spin this are laughable. So, the sequester cuts are terrible (per Obama) but, he somehow has the authority to direct the agencies to make them smart. If that is the case then you have made no point and Obama has scored no victory. He is simply making the cuts Congress has authorized him to make, and inventing a crisis so he can look like a hero. Nobody buys it, except you.

The myth you are trying to push is that Congress made some terribly destructive cuts, and that Obama has saved the day. The reality is the cuts aren't that deep and no one will notice, and the agencies are making the cuts they are required to make.

I thought the Uncle Remus reference was dumb because Obama did not get what he wanted. On Friday Obama said the cuts were a disaster. Why would he want to sign off on an a disaster? You still never answered that. He also said he didn't want any spending cuts. He wanted Congress to raise taxes and unwind all the cuts proposed in the sequestration. So to claim that he got what he wanted is to not understand the issue, at all. He got the opposite of what he wanted.

The lie/lies Red is that AQ has been effectively destroyed. That is why they didn't provide the security and support requested in Benghazi resulting in the deaths of Stevens et al. They had to protect that lie. AQ is active all over the ME they have strength in Libyia, Syria (with the rebels) Yemen and any other country with unrest. They are like a nest of ants that has been stepped on. Rice's lie was just the icing on the cake.
Likewise they lied (or were too stupid to understand) that the surge in Afganastan was useless in the long run. It just added to the death toll of our servicemen and Afgan civilians.
Obama has his beds of lies and deaths to answer for.

Red I gotta credit you on this. Obama will come out the political winner no doubt. However not because he will have accomplished managing the cuts or dealing with the sequester, deficit or any of our problems in any meaningful or positive way. He will win because he has vilified the Rs...the Rs have shot themselves in the foot....leg...balls and probably the head to make it easy for him.

He and the Rs and the rest of the Ds have put self above country and until someone (it will be at least the next administration) is a leader and has the strength to crack heads and make the hore drink we are fucked. He is no better at best than the worst R out there and continues to prove he hasn't the tools or courage or morals to do his job in a way that is best for the country and people HE SERVES.

He may get a political victory but only he will be better off for it. As for the rest of the country we will pay for his ego for years.

Two things...
1) Obama gets credit for everything in most of the media. Only Fox News criticizes him, and they do it so much they can't be taken seriously.

2) If a plan Obama signed off on reduces the size of government he should get the credit. That whole buck stops here thing works both ways. I don't expect a politician to be honest and say that the sequestration was a bi-partisan solution.

I think you are the one who doesn't understand. Brer Rabbit actually wanted to be thrown in the bryer patch. Did you know that? Obama did not want spending cuts. He wanted to raise taxes. Congress sent him a bill that cut spending. He ended up agreeing with and thought it was a good bill so much so that he signed his name on it and enacted it as law. He then waited over a year and right about the time the cuts were to go into effect he started up with rhetoric that the cuts he approved in 2011 were going to have catastrophic effects on the economy and the American people.

So like I said before... your analogy was dumb. Brer rabbit tricked Brer Fox and Brer Bear into throwing him into the bryer patch (the thing he wanted). Obama approved spending cuts he thought were bad, then bitched when Congress wouldn't rubber stamp his decrees.
