the same reason why they won't loot in BR, because they are too cowardly to mess with people who will fight back
for me, you, and all the sane out there, they are off limits, but we just don't know what it is like to be sick mentally...
well, i think this boils down to this. we all know that New Orleans, for the most part, has a bad reputation for bieng high crime. a report i heard Monday was that 29% of New Orleans citizens live in poverty......I will let you do the math of what 29% of 455,000 people is. these people are now in a situation that is life or death, they are acting on their primal fears and instincts and doing what THEY feel is necessary to survive. is it civil...NO. is it acceptable.....HELL NO. should they be arrested and/or shot if caught...HELL YES. keep in mind hospitals have food stocked up, have power from generators, and have drugs on site........
You both are correct...just thinking with my heart and wearing my emotions about this whole thing on my sleeves. Hopefully this will all end sooner than we think.

I agree Unfortunately your tax money will go to there recovery. I heard this morning that the biggest problem facing the Tulane Medical center was SECURITY. o:
New Orleans has been soft on crime for nearly 300 years. Now might be a good time to change things !!!!
