1. Just wanted to post something here cause I haven't posted in awhile. I took a trip to L.A. and then from there I went to New York (where I am now). I noticed in L.A. that there were stands with USC items but no national championship items. Other than my dislike for USC, the city is great. New York is nice too, but very fast paced. Anyway I just can't wait for the season to start cause this baseball crap is making me sick. I went to ESPNZONE here in New York and was wishing that the football season had started. Instead we watched the Yankees play. :dis:

Anyways, this whole message is kinda pointless, but I was bored. Can't wait to talk football with you guys once the season is underway!!! :geaux:
  2. Enjoy the weather. I left there Friday morning and it was 60 degrees with zero humidity. It's not too bad here in BB right now either.
  3. By, the tone of your post It seems you may be truly missing LSU football. The first game is just around the corner. It will be great to see that first kick off.

I can remember when I first joined this board we discussing how each of us felt after a win or loss. When we win I get pretty high and when we lose I am in a depression until we win again. It sure is nice to go so long between the depression.

I also miss football season. :geaux:
  4. welcome to NYC. get out of ESPN and go catch a yankee game. there's nothing like it.
  5. dont listen to him. from espn, you can go in the times square subway station and the 7 train to shea is right there.
  6. The weather was nice indeed. We went to Malibu for the last couple of days of my visit and it had to be around 60 degrees there. It was unreal. Imagine having to wear long sleeve shirt in the SUMMER time.

The temp. is actually quite cool here in NYC, especially at night. I was told that it would be humid here and when I arrived on Wednesday, I just had to chuckle at what they consider "humid". The locals in Cali also considered it hot and a little humid there. If they only knew. They wouldn't last a second in the South. Anyway, I'm gonna enjoy the rest of this great weather.
  7. You should have been there Monday and Tuesday. NYC gets very humid. It only lasts about a month, though, compared to April through September in Louisiana.
