it's Troy University now, Not Troy State. They changed the name earlier this year. :shock:

 

Sort of like the school formerly known as USL? :cry:

 

so what. Ulala changed theirs too and its still USL to idiot me cuz I like it that way.

Same with University Louisiana Monroe. Such a long name for an insignificant school just doesn't fit.

And its still Syracuse Orangemen to me as well. if i wanted an orange Id call anita bryant. heh

 

I guess some of their students couldn't find the state of Troy on the map.

Mizzou jumped out to a quick lead as I expected ... 14-0 ... looked to cover the 11 points ... then they self-destructed ...

a lot due to the Real Men of Troy :hihi: ... that's worth some mileage on the USC boards ... and a tough Troy Defense ...

This good little team has beaten Marshall 17-15 ... and Mizzou 24-14 in the opening games.

Holding 2 good offensive teams to 29 points with good defense is commendable ...

LSU has two weeks after Florida to heal up and get ready to face the Mighty Men of Troy :wink: ... and they better be ready to play this scrappy bunch

 

Brad Smith is not as good as I thought he was...

He doesn't seem to have much field awareness.

 

I am not sure it had to do with Smith as it did to how poorly Mizz played overall....his OL was horrible and the running game was nowhere most of the time.
