1. I would agree if we had depth, but I do think with our lack of it, we need to assign key targets.

  2. we got no honeybadgers on this d, man. we got a few honeys who look scared to tackle, however.

  3. I'm afraid we would see a lot more blown coverages when we went to a zone.
  4. The problem with man coverage right now is Dewayne Thomas. Put a decent receiver in the slot and Thomas is toast. Jalen Mills coming back makes the secondary legit. I like the idea of playing man, but I hate it when the corners line up 5 and 10 yards off the receiver. Get physical with them, push em around. That used to drive me nuts with Chavis, Jalen Collins is huge for a corner and he always played off the line. Claiborne too.

  5. I dunno. We have had a few blown in man as well this year. Not sure what is going on.
  6. Yep, but I have to say I see several in every game I've watched this year. By every team I've watched. We focus so much on our team we forget that pretty much every team has many of the same problems. I like this defense and hope they keep getting better, start getting more consistent. We have a few great series and then a poor one. Some teams have mostly poor series. Anxious to see how the LSU/UF game goes as well as the aTm/Bama game.
  7. I think honestly most of it is a motivation issue. We are pretty sound on D with the game is close.

2-3 scores up, they get loose.
  8. this game scares me because of Floridas defense, their offense meh.
  9. LSU's D has been pretty good at making meh offenses look better than meh this season.
  10. And the fact that Florida's D could keep our already thin D on the field more could be a problem. This is a game where Harris is going to be counted on to convert some 3rd downs with his arm. He'll probably see the best pass rush and coverage he's seen all season too.
