Gridiron Now is reporting that ESPN initially wanted the game to air at 4 p.m. EST on Saturday, which is usually the kickoff time for their premier SEC games. Usually the game is on CBS, but that all changed with the rescheduling of it. ESPN reportedly had first rights to the games on the SEC slate for this week and of course selected the makeup game over a slew of other mediocre options.
