I'm going to test it on my girlfriend's mouth this weekend. If it holds that, you have 1 helluva product!!!

If its like some similar products I've used before, the surface has to be very clean and dry or the stuff doesn't adhere well and peels off.

Of course. And what leaking gutter or broken flower pot meets those criteria?

The hot water tank in my RV does.

Here is my tip for the day. If you happen to run out of propane over the course of the winter and a hard freeze comes. Those tanks will split like a cantalope.

Hot water tank? Buy a new one. That stuff is not made for that application. Hot water tank is a fast recovery water heater. Are you talking about the plastic water tanks?

No, its metal, basically it is an aluminum box with a heating element inside, probably 10 gal max. It (tank) is lets see, "craftily" encased and doesn't appear to be easily removed. If you couple this with my temperment it is sure to equal a bunch of shyt getting broken. It would be a lot easier if I could just spray some magic stuff on there to seal the leak. Like someone mentioned, its $20, hell I drink more than that so what have I got to lose?
