Favorite beer for tailgating?

For all the hardcore tailgaters what is your beer or liqour of choice to get nice and sauced while waiting on gametime? I like to start off with Abita Amber and after my tastebuds are numb I switch to the cheap stuff (IceHouse). Nothing like throwing down an Abita Amber and some hot boudin.

 

I prefer bourbon and coke.

 

I cant drink bourbon anymore. Me and Jim Beam tangled once and well lets say Jim Beam beat me like a red headed stepchild.

 

Beam and Southern Comfort make my stomach do gymnastics. But Crown Reserve and Hennessy is alot better on me. I wish I could afford to drink the pricey stuff.

 

Depends on the budget. I think drinking Bud light is like drinking water with some beer mixed in. So I would have to go with Abiita, whiskey, or maybe something like heineken or newcastle which isn't too expensive...

 

It's hard to have import beer taste buds(heineken or red stripe) on a Natural Light budget.

 

Yeah I understand. But their is just something about drinking that stuff and then never wanting to drink bud light or coors light again. It is defintely expensive though...

 

I hear you DallasLSU. I have pretty much quit drinking all together. I save it for special occasion, blow out party, type deals like mardi gras,weddings, or tiger games which I seldom get to see in person anymore. I sure try to make up for it when given the chance though.
