His music has always been ok to me, but i think it stems from a hatred of all things halftime. I really with that american football would take its cues from socccer on this front. Shorten the TV timeouts (anything that cuts away from the game) to speed up the game a little bit. Then at halftime show a bunch of commercials (revenue) then some analysis and right back to the game.
