The current BCS formula was designed to make amends for what people saw as last year's "unfair" treatment of USC. It's their party and they know it. They can coast on through that pathetic conference and go surfing while both OU and Auburn will have one final test against a ranked oppenent for their Conference Championship. Much as I hate Auburn, as thing stands now the rankings OUGHT to be: 1)Auburn 2)OU 3)USC The ONLY ****ing reason why the rankings are the reverse of this is becuase that's how these three teams were ordered in the preseason polls. This is the asinine system we have now. Tiebreakers between teams with identical records to be determined by a ****ing guess before the season even started. Has anyone bothered to crunch the numbers using last years formula to see how things would look?
