So can someone help me understand.
How can USC Sign 30 kids (IE 5 more than is allowed) get the over signing thing.
Several are not going to make grades etc.
but how do they sign 30 under the NCAA restrictions.

Again its not a rhetorical question, seriously maybe someone smarter than me can explain how they are able to skirt the limit that was imposed.
Weren't they limited to what 15 or something like that this year. Or is there loopholes they are exploiting.

    Thanks.

They will be down to about 10 recruits over the next 2 years.

So he's only phucking himself by getting all these 3 star players this year that could have been 4 star players over the next 2 recruiting seasons.

It looks to me that Kiffin and Orgeron are feathering their nests NOW because they're gonna bolt at the very next opportunity leaving USC in the *****ter.

$100 to a nickle says they'll do it in the dark of night again.

Are you sure that's how it will work? The way I understand it is that once the appeal process is done, and if it is denied, the restrictions will just kick in next year. So he will still be able to sign 15 next year, but the impact will be lessened, especially if he redshirts everyone in this class, because that core of players will be there until restrictions run out. If he takes 30 this year and 15 next year, thats 45 players that will be the foundation of the team over the course of probation. I think it's a crock, but it's a pretty good plan considering they were down to 70 scholarship players last year.

I thought the SEC only limited its schools to 25 after the 30 plus Ole Piss class, that rule doesn't apply to the Pac-10.

I believe the SEC limit is 28.
