LSU has turned the corner ... a while back ... and this could very well be the most exciting year for LSU since 1958.

LSU had the #3 Recruiting Class in 2001

LSU had another decent class in 2002, ranked 18th, where most needs were filled.

LSU won the mythical Recruiting National Championship this year.

It's past time to begin reaping the harvest of Coach Saban & staff's hard work. LSU should be favored to win in every game they play, even against Auburn. A couple of good breaks and an unbeaten season and SEC Championship are very possible, with LSU in a BSC or National Championship BCS game. Many folks are just too quick to write off this team. I enjoyed reading this article by Scott McKay of Purple & Gold

The trouble with preseason scrimmages is that if the offense does great we worry about what is wrong with the defense and if the defense looks great the what the hell is wrong with the offense. Nobody knows what the team will look like until they play a real game. Like most Tiger fans I fully expect LSU to beat every team on their schedule. They might not be favored in every game but there is nobody on the schedule who they can't beat if they put on their game faces every single game and stay focused and avoid letdowns. If the Tigers improve every game to the point where each week they are a better team than the team they were the previous week there is no telling how far they can go. The team that plays Georgia should be a hell of a lot better than the team that plays ULM and Arizona. The Tiger team that plays Florida and Auburn should be a lot better than the team that played Georgia. The Tiger team that plays in the Sugar Bowl for the NC will have to be better than the Tiger team that wins the SEC Championship game.

An impossible dream? I don't think so. Lets do it The Future is Now!

LSU can certainnly beat any team on the schedule, but hasn't yet demonstrated the consistency to pull it off. We will probably take 2 to 4 losses. I hope it ain't 4.

Skip says he expects "9 wins minimum" from Nick this year to fill the stadium and make the new seating plan work. How about a little pressure, Nick?

I guess this is Skip's payback for Saban's ultimatum of early summer which put Skip on the spot to get more money from the stadium. Well, Skip did his part. Now its up to Nick.

LSU loses one game this year, if any.

Ramah will be back on this board, just as LSU will be back in the NC game.

    Bank on it.

Even Ramah couldn't be wrong all of the time.

I'm guessing the no-necks the bookies sent for him took little notice of his limited history of accurate predictions.

Still, in retrospect this post would seem to have been right-on, 'cept we did lose one game. . .
