1. In "Casey's Shadow" with Walter Matthau, he hooks up a horse trailer and drives to Ruidoso Downs in New Mexico. He leaves Carencro and heads east on I-10. Not the quickest route but the scenery was better. :hihi:

  7. What was that movie, with the bartender from "Cheers" and that chick from "G.I. Jane"? Dude from "The Natural" paid a million bucks to tag and release her. Anyway, the guy from cheers wears an LSU baseball hat at one point in the movie.
  8. Man, it was a right of passage to "go to The Show" every Friday night growing up in New Roads. There were certainly many "firsts" in the good ole King Theater. Poor Mr. Lee, babysat 60 kids every Friday night.....

    Although, a movie featuring 3 way action involving a stupid hick bartender, a female Navy Seal, and an early 1900's ballplayer may be appealing as well. But in the end, TAF gets the million bucks.:)
