NOLA definitely is the place to go for entertainment. Although, it would be a shame for y'all to travel all this way to witness a loss. :thumb:
why dont you come down for a classic LSU - Florida game in BR. We'll show you what LSU Football and Tiger Stadium are all about..:thumb:
Said the cat to the mouse. :hihi: I do have an LSU Sugar Bowl shirt I can wear but I might just slip a lil' something Cardinal and Gold underneath.
I have a feeling she'll come around to the good side eventually.:thumb: Southern Charm is hard to resist.
Never happen honey. This Cali Girl will always be a Trojan. Perhaps the Southern charm would be more effective if waged on the West Coast. You SEC types always want a home and home.
You aren't afraid of a little road trip are ya? I have a feeling that you know, once you take in a game at Death Valley, you'll be hhoked for life.:thumb:
You smack talkin' coonass..........make me laugh. No, I'm not afraid of a little road trip. Since I know ya'll like to be first (who doesn't?) let's just set LSU aside for a second and consider a couple other teams who hate SC. I've made the trip to south bend more than once. It's quite a place to see a game. I'm not talking volume, just history, the stadium, etc. I was raised to at least respect the rivalry and so I do. There's more than a little hate but frankly the irish fans in SoCal are FAR WORSE. ASU is just a pit of a place to see a game. A few year's back, it was over 100 at kickoff and they ran out of water. I've never seen so many people pass out, puke, or get taken away when alcohol wasn't involved. The ASU fans (okay the girls are hot) are obnoxious, threatening, and vile. I'll just say ditto for ruin fans, especially at Pauley. I've been spit on 2x at Pauley over the last 3 years. No class. No doubt I would enjoy taking in a game at Death Valley. I'll still leave with my heart firmly committed to USC. Of course it would be your responsibility to make sure I got to all the tailgates. :thumb:
I went to LSU-ND @ South Bend in 1997 or 1998, can't remember which and too lazy to look it up. I remember thinking how bland the stadium was, and I was 12. I got a hot chocolate and it came it this big old mug with a bunch of black and white pictures on the side. I defaced it with a Sharpie when I got home. Oh, and some girls were walking around in bikinis in the 30 degree weather. The first time I ever heard the comment (uncomprehendingly), "Tid bit nipply?"
So you would much prefer all your games be home games huh? Who wouldn't? But road games are a part of all sports. Those are the tough ones. They tell you what kind of a team you have. SEC teams look forward to the challenge of beating opponents on their home turf. It sweetens the victory. Sorry you west coast types have a problem with it.
