Trump’s losses are evidence of his poor choices and management. That’s all. The other point was just to note he has $100 MM exposure if ruled against.
You clearly don’t understand. You can have millions in write offs that aren’t even considered “losses”. Just buying a building allows you to depreciate the “entire” building over a number of years.
You obviously didn’t read the article. Trump’s holdings actually lost vast sums In operation not depreciation only. Look at Trump Air, his casinos the XFL (?), the Plaza etc. They had massive operating losses that drove them into bankruptcy. If it were only depreciation it wouldn’t mean anything BUT IT WASN’T
