49 until election day. 7 weeks to go. Here is where the race stands:

    Biden holds 213 safe electoral votes from the following states: Oregon-7, Maine-4, California-55, Massachusets-11, Virginia-13, Delaware-3, New York-29, Hawaii-4, Washington-12, Connecticut-7, Maryland-10, Illinois-20, Vermont-3, Rhode Island-4, New Jersey-14, DC-3, Colorado-9 and New Mexico-5.

    Trump holds 126 safe electoral votes from the following states: Indiana-11, Montana-3, Oklahoma-7, Idaho-4, Louisiana-8, Kansas-6, Utah-6, Kentucky-8, South Carolina-9, Alabama-9, Alaska-3, Mississippi-6, Arkansas-6, Tennessee-11, North Dakota-3, West Virginia-5, Wyoming-3, South Dakota-3, Nebraska-5 and Missouri-10.

This leaves the following states as battlegrounds and 199 electoral votes up for grabs:
    Arizona-11, Florida-29, Georgia-16, Iowa-6, Michigan-16, Minnesota-10, North Carolina-15, New Hampshire-4, Nevada-6, Ohio-18, Pennsylvania-20, Texas-38 and Wisconsin-10

Polling Averages for last 5 polls:
    Arizona - Biden leads 49-45
    Florida - Biden leads 48-46
    Georgia - Trump leads 47-46
    Iowa - Trump leads 47-45
    Michigan - Biden leads 50-42
    Minnesota - Biden leads 50-42
North Carolina - Biden leads 47-46
New Hampshire - Biden leads 48-43
    Nevada - Biden leads 45-41
    Ohio - Tied at 47-47
    Pennsylvania - Biden leads 49-44
    Texas - Trump leads 48-43
    Wisconsin - Biden leads 49-44

If the election were held today the final electoral vote count based upon these averages would be Trump with 204 (which includes Ohio) and Biden with 334.

This week Nate Silver has his figures sitting at exactly the same. To see all the polling information I used 270towin.com and realclearpolitics.com.

As long as you have Texas listed as a battleground your information is tainted.

one random dem policy i think is far more destructive than people realize is free college and debt relief.

college debt is a good thing. it incentivize people to to major in things that benefit society. engineers dont care about college debt. gender studies majors do. college debt is the market helping us push folks to be useful.

I think the government shouldn't back the loans though. It has artificially raised prices for shit degree's. OR only back degrees that are in need/demand.
