This impeachment was just political theater The trial was more of the same. Trump did nothing wrong, and everyone knew it except of course, ... Winston. The "seven" who voted to convict are known Trump haters, except Collins, who had to convict to hold on to her seat in a liberal state.
You really don't believe this do you? According to the members of the Senate who acquitted him, they felt he wasn't guilty of what he was charged with. That's a far stretch to thinking he did nothing wrong.
So we had soufflé potatoes, shrimp remoulade oysters Foch & Rockefeller as appetizers. Filet Marchand du vin with mashed potatoes & green beans. The other couple brought a $1500/bottle wine. While there we ran into other friends having dinner in the Rex room...a great time was had by all. I expected Trump to be acquitted as most of the Republicans were too scared to be honest. Yes I really don’t like Trump. He’s a cancer on the country and is destroying the Republican Party. As to the comparison with OJ my point is that two people who committed the crime they were accused of were let off by partisan jurors. Otherwise I was insulting OJ by the comparison. He did his crime out of passion....whereas Trump is just rotten to the core.
Trump did one thing wrong ... he beat HIllary in 2016, resulting in him appointing 3 Supreme Court Justices. The Democrats and Media have been mischaracterizing him and attacking him and trying to impeach him and convict him and kill him and god knows what else to him ever since.
No I personally don’t care as long as it isn’t vinegar or grape juice....but I will enjoy the better things when the opportunity presents. Also it seems like CO and you were interested in living vicariously so I was just helping.
