Raphael Warnock to win both Georgia Senate runoff elections. “I think we’re ready to get it done,” Abrams told Stephen Colbert Monday night. “I put my money on blue.” Why is she so confident? I have a hunch. Abrams was also on MSNBC Monday night, and couldn’t help patting herself on the back for getting rid of exact-match signature verification on ballots—a provision meant to verify that the voters who cast the ballots are actually the individuals they claim to be. “We were able to secure absentee ballot rules that actually treated every single voter the same. We were able to mitigate and eviscerate the exact-match system that was keeping so many people off the rolls,” Abrams told host Rachel Maddow.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-cries-election-fraud-in-court-his-lawyers-dont-11605271267 Wall Street Journal says otherwise. When are you going to stop trusting the bull shit news outlets who pretend otherwise? I could literally post links all day long from news outlets, conservative and otherwise, who say clearly that no evidence has been presented in court. If you don't believe me.....tell me this.....HOW MANY OF TRUMP'S LAWSUITS HAVE MADE IT PAST THE FIRST DAY? They have been thrown out for both. But let's not get too excited because what that means is that they have not filed the lawsuits properly or in the correct court. That speaks to their incompetence if they can't even figure out where to file their suits or how to file a lawsuit correctly. Nevertheless....how many of those suits corrected their mistakes and re-filed their suits? HOW M ANY OF TRUMP'S LAWSUITS HAVE BEEN TRIED IN COURT?
I don't think that he will be handcuffed when he leaves the WH but I do believe he will have ongoing legal trouble until he dies because of the legal exposure he has. Michael Cohen went to prison for following Trump's orders to pay off two hookers while he was running for office in 2016. Trump will have to face these charges.
Trump's orders? Is there any evidence of that aside from Cohen stating it? Wasn't he convicted of tax evasion and lying to congress?
Cohen was convicted of paying off the the two porn stars during the 2016 campaign and using campaign funds to do so. Trump was listed on the indictment as Defendent #1 because as sitting President he cannot be indicted evidently. The tax evasion/tax fraud investigation is the one out of the Southern District of NY that Cy Vance is leading and it deals more with the Trump Organization, Money laundering, etc. There are others but I am not familiar with the details. To answer your question, I don't know what kind of evidence exists that Trump ordered it since it is considered an ongoing matter. If there is an indictment there has to be something significant enough for a Grand Jury to allow it.
But you said it was Trump's orders. Can you edit your original post to something like "Michael Cohen went to prison for allegedly following Trump's orders to pay off two hookers..." Thats the kind of omission, commonplace now, that muddies the waters and creates confusion, division, turmoil...etc...We all need to be more accurate and civil - even to President's that we dislike.
