I have 2, ages 25 and 22. It never gets less expensive! The best thing I ever did for mine was encourage them to be independent. You may remember, my oldest traveled around the world, by herself. #2 has been overseas twice by herself now. Makes you nervous as heck, but they learn how to live on their own.

I think it probably seems that way to you because of your media diet. I can tell you that from watching CNN and MSNBC that it's the opposite. They never show antifa or looters in portland but they show a lot of Proud Boys, etc. Like you, I can't name anyone in those groups from the far left and I don't know a soul who supports those groups, much less a card holding member. Most of my friends from the left do not like those groups because they understand the harm it does to trying to stand up for a good cause, like Police Reform. I personally hate the "Defund the Police" thing because it's ludicrous. We have to have policing. I think most people just want fair policing and maybe a little less trigger happy in some cases. I think the vast majority of them are good honest public servants who would prefer to have the bad apples out of their ranks. Saying "Defund the Police" is going to lose support for you every fucking time. I don't know who thinks these things up but.... Just proves my point about stereotyping. I never saw that clip but your media made sure that you did because it reinforces the stereotype. If it had been a famous person saying that all who voted for Biden were avowed socialists and baby killers you can bet your bottom button it would have been all over the lefts media.
