Let's shift our focus for a moment from the tragedy that surrounds us and talk some Tiger football.

What do you think is going to be effect on the Tigers psyche not playing this week and next weeks scheduled home game against Arizona St still being up in the air as to whether or not it is going to be played, and if so, where?

Personally, I think the Tigers are chomping at the bit and want to hit somebody in a Maroon & Gold jersey. I just hope Les and the coaching staff can keep their focus on the Sun Devils for another eight days. A tough task under the circumstances.

I think if we play next Saturday night, when the Tigers come charging out of the tunnel in front of 90,000 plus enthused Tiger fans the Sun Devils are in for a long night in Death Valley and will come out on the short end of the scoreboard.

    What do you think?

I have absolutely no idea. This tragedy has actually done the unthinkable and dampered my football spirit (and everything else with it.) Hope that's not the case for the players, but you never know.

I understand where you're coming from. Trust me, you have to divert your attention from it every now and then to keep from going stark raving mad. I hope like hell we play next Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. The state and all of us Tiger followers need a 3 1/2 hour diversion.

The tigers just need to think of this as a bye week. I tell you what Iam having a time waiting for the tigers to play. I live in Michigan and have to suffer thur the big 10 all week. Man that sucks.:tigerhead

You need to subscribe to ESPN GamePlan. I'm stuck in Big 12 country and it's a lifesaver.

I'm really hoping that this is turned into a positive for this team's psyche, but you never know.

I will predict right now though, that if this team doesn't meet expectations this disaster will be used as an excuse by some, and whether that's the truth or not will probably never be known.

    Here's a pretty sizable impact: 10.

That's the number of games in the same number of weeks the team will now play, eleven if you toss in a trip to Atlanta, if it happens.

    That's tough.

Honestly, I think Coach should consider just bencihing the starters for at least the Appy St. game, kind of giving those that play the most a de facto Open Week.
