Early Doucet

Did I miss something last night when they said Early was going to the locker room to be looked at. Did he substain an injury? Just curious...I never heard anything else about it.

 

He was back in the game later, though.

 

IMHO, they should replace him on special teams with Chad Jones. I hated seeing him out there on special teams!

 

I agree, we can't afford to get him hurt.

 

Did I see Early with some sort of 'mohawk' haircut ?

The best punt returner should have the job. If that's Doucet, fine. We had plenty of starters on special teams last night. ST is just as important as the offense and defense.

Worrying about injuries should not be a factor in deciding who should play.

 

Maybee we should stick TH as the Punt Returner......

Yeah, I'd love to see Holliday return punts. Seems an obvious choice. I guess he can't handle the job, for whatever reason.

I think Doucet is too important to the offense to risk getting him injured on special teams. If he was playing like Deion Sanders back there, I'd likely feel differently. I'll be holding me breath on punt returns all season.

 

He was walking off with a trainer like nothing was bother him. Maybe he had to use the john.
