1. infamous detroit coach marty mornhinweg against the bears in soldier field. the conditions were horrible so i dont think its a terrible decision yet no other coach will elect to do that due to criticism when it doesnt work.
  2. You NEVER elect to kick in overtime if you do you will never see the ball!!

  3. well if its 50 mph wind and snow all over the field never becomes a very plausible option for field position. nice assessment though.
  4. You got that right. I was there. It seemed like whoever was calling those passes didn't want LSU to win. The Auburn fans were screaming "throw it again" and throw it they did
  5. I see your point, but you can not take the risk of not seeing the ball. In my opinion.
  6. If it is just the play you are looking for it would have to be anytime a team runs the swinging gate.

If you are looking for a specific game how about anytime this year the Saints have stepped on the field.

  7. sure you can but you wont be able to survive the repercussions if it fails if you're an up and coming coach. people like you believe the notion its completely stupid regardless and the fat hack media types arent very savvy either.

the tuna could get away with it or belichick on a snowy new england day and when it worked they'd be geniuses. well bigger geniuses than before then the same idiot media would praise them and you'd prolly follow suit.

thats how sports works if you havent noticed.

by the way, the patriots are suddenly the best team in the nfl as well...again. ask around.
  8. Thanks much. Guess I am getting old.
  9. Why do you not like the swinging gate? Mainly run in high school games today and not just for the xpt, but in the middle of the field.
  10. My vote is for the Booty "audible" pass play at the end of the UAB game. That one still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
