Boise's shoes were hideous, but the Georgia uniforms were Gawd-awful. Oregon's uniforms looked pretty good, but dressing like Batman doesn't make you play like Batman.

i always dig the funky oregon unis but the shoes have to go. very distracting and often made me think a flag was on the field. although there often was.

My wife said the same thing. Looked like a team soaked in blood. Not sure that is a good thing if it is your own.

At first, it was a "shock factor"....like most of the west coast that think they are "trail blazers" in fashion..

Now? Oregon doesn't get that wow factor. They are getting that "clown look" and their ever-growing color scheme is becoming a laughing stock and a joke. The only people that like it and thing it's cool are their very own.:insane:

Everyone else across the country views them as a joke.

Be true to your school's colors. When has neon green and catsh*t carbon EVER been UO's colors????

Lots of bombastic statements here. Pretty sure you didn't actually conduct a national poll, statements like, The only people that like it and thing it's cool are their very own.:insane: Everyone else across the country views them as a joke", put bluntly, that's just an insult that you pulled out of your own azz. You don't like the uniforms, fine, there's no accounting for taste, no big whoop to me what you think.

    But, your's was an odd post, lot of passion about something you probably shouldn't give a sh!t about. This is my opinion on your opinion;

I think you like standing on a soapbox, and enjoy having people watch you piss on things. At the very least, you should know what the phuck you're talking about.

The Oregon plan doesn't care what you or I think, it's all about recruiting, it's about what the player's think. This is the most current info I could find.

.....Oregon was voted as having the best uniforms in all of college football, garnering a whopping 53.7% of the votes......, I believe the second place school garnered something like 7% of the vote

Players poll: Oregon uniforms voted NCAA's best - Portland Oregon Ducks Football | Examiner.com

As far as the rest of the members who don't like the unis.... Well, that's OK, everyone is entitled to their opinion. They weren't acting like a pompous clown....

In regards to Georgia's unis, I can't believe Nike would make a uniform that looks so much like the Under Armour All-American Game unis.

Maybe they would've played better if they all had capes.

I kept thinking there was a flag thrown too - turned out it was only someone wearing tennis ball colored shoes strutting by.

I liked the uniforms for the most part, though. I respect innovation. The crowd I was with isn't much into college football and almost unanimously liked the Oregon uniforms.

I let them all know I liked them ok, but LSU was sporting traditional timeless uniforms - old school and fundamental. Interesting how the uniforms kinda match the style of play of their respective team. There is a certain beauty in simplicity and tradition and the most well intentioned innovation can't touch it.

I like traditional uniforms too, my mom called me last night after the game, she mentioned how she really liked the Tiger's uniforms. I agreed.

I thought the Duck's uniforms last night, are among our best. I agree about the shoes though. I think the green on the shoes will work, but right now it's just too much. I say reduce it by at least 50%.

....."There is a certain beauty in simplicity and tradition and the most well intentioned innovation can't touch it".....

    Concurrence, and nicely put.

Oregon isn't all innovation, we wear throw backs, too.

We like it all, the Ducks just like to party under a large tent.

Your throwbacks are actually amoung my favorites for Oregon.

The all-white unis are nice. All black is ok....it's when you guys start breaking out the neon-green, diamond metal shoulder designs, et al that gets me all :rolleye33:
