  2. This is from Monday's hunt (5 hollywoods, 2 bwt, 1 wigeon, 1 Cinnamon teal)

    Better shot of the Cinnamon. This is the only time I have ever shot one. It was a pretty young bird and didn't have full colors yet. I was a little relieved because the taxidermy bill is getting a little heavy this year.

  4. I wish. Of all the dang ducks I've ever shot I still have yet to get a band. The first duck I bagged was a hen blue wing teal, when I was 16. It was missing the bottom half of one leg, and I suspect may have had a band on it at some point.
  5. we used to see them pretty often but that was long ago. none? thats hard to believe.
  6. My nephew and his dad went to North La this past weekend and had a great hunt. Best pic, IMO, of the hunt:

  10. British Lab. He is young, but has an awesome nose and really responds to my nephew. His dad could not believe how well the dog (Gunner) hunted.
