DT prospect from Mansfield.

Saw a post about him on another board. Apparently, he dominated the NOLA Scout combine, in which DeAndre Brown also reportedly did extremely well.

He's 6'4", 300lbs, and only a sophmore. LSU & MSU have already offered, and LSU is his favorite right now.

Brown talks about what he likes in each school.

LSU - "I have a teammate that plays for them, Richard Dickson. Coach Henson recruited this area when they were recruiting Richard, so I have known him for a while. We have a real good relationship. Right now, LSU is very high on my list."

When it comes decision time; it will be pretty simple for this National 100 member.

"I just want to go some where I can come in and help and feel at home."

DeAndre is uncertain about his grade status and will need to retake the ACT

There were not as many linemen but there were still some kids that stood out. Defensively, two come to mind – Chris Davenport (Mansfield, La.) and Joshua Jackson (Canton, Miss.). Davenport, only a rising junior, was absolutely dominating. He has speed, quickness and power for a big man and should be one of the top prospects in Louisiana next season

Thanks! Great report and sounds like there may be a couple of kids who aren't on our radar that deserve more attention.
